Every country has a unique culture, heritage and tradition, which sets it apart from its other counterparts. Likewise India has got its own special culture, a very rich heritage and world-renowned traditions. The great language Sanskrit is the foundation that supports our culture. The uniqueness of our Indian culture is due to the fact that no other country’s culture is so deeply affected by a language. In fact our entire culture is built around the morals and rules set by Sanskrit.
When we come in contact with a person of loose morals, we saythat his elders have not given him good ‘Samskruthi’ i.e. culture. The very word samskruthi is derived from the word ‘Samskrutham’. So Sanskrit is not just a language; it is the way of an Indian’s life; it is the culture of India. Thefollowing saying fits aptly to the context above: -
Bharathiaikatatha sadhakam samskrutham
Bharathiyathva sampadhakam samskrutham |
Jnanapunjaprabhadharshkam samskrutham
Sarvadhananda sandhohadham samskrutham ||
