Issue of shares- Accounting Treatment

when company needs capital to finance business or run business activities it goes to public and issue shares to generate amount from the public and people contribute the amount in share capital of the company by means of there shares in share capital of company this process is called issue of shares.

Journal Entries for the issue of shares are as follows:
(1) On receipt of application money

(2) On allotment of shares
(a) First of all application money on allotted shares is transferred to shares capital account by passing the following entry.

( b) Those applicants who could not be allotted any share, their application moneywill be returned. For the following entry willbe passed.

Similar entries will be passed for second call, third and final call, if any.
Any amount received from or paid to any shareholder ins not to be credited or debited to shareholder account but collectively it will be either debited or credited to share application account, share allotment accountor share call amount.
As and when any amount is received or become due, it willbe entered either in share application and allotment accountor share call account.

Today is Birthday of Swami Vivekananda

Today January 12 is the birthday of Swami Vivekananda as per English calendar or the Gregorian calendar. Swami Vivekananda was born on January12, 1863. Based on traditional Hindu lunar calendar, Swami Vivekananda's birthday falls on the Paush Krishna Saptami, the 7th day after the full moon day in the Hindu month of Paush. This is observed as Swami Vivekananda Jayantiand it is on January 15, 2012. Saints associated with Sanatana Dharma never sought blind followers. Their sole aim was to initiate adiscussion on a particular topic. Theywanted each individual to arrive ata conclusion through a healthy debate. They wanted each individual to realize his/her potential. Swami Vivekananda was one such modern saint who kindled the passion of enquiry in the mind of people.The ideal way or remember or honor a saint is by understanding his/her teachings. Swami Vivekananda has given his valuable opinion on several topics. It is for us to pick up these pearls of wisdom and apply it in our daily life. This can be done not juston his birthday but on all days of the year. The day is observed as youth day in India . This year also marks the beginning of the 150 birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.

ಏಳಿ ಎದ್ದೇಳಿ! ಯುವಕರೇ ಇಂದು ವಿಶ್ವ ಯುವ ದಿನ............ ............... ............... ............... ............... ...... ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಯುವದಿನ. ವೀರಸಂನ್ಯಾಸಿ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ಜನ್ಮದಿನ. ದೇಶದ ಯುವಜನತೆ ಸಂಭ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಅಚರಿಸಬೇಕಾದ ಹಬ್ಬ. ಅದರೆ ಇಂದಿನ ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಯುವಕರಿಗೆ ತಮಗಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಮೀಸಲಾಗಿದೆಎಂಬ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಎಂದೊಮರೆತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ಜನ್ಮದಿನವಾ, ರಜಾ ಏನಾದರೂ ಸಿಗುತ್ತಾ ಎಂದು ಯೋಚಿಸುವ ಮನಸ್ಥಿತಿಗೆ ತಲುಪಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಯುವಕರಿಗಿಂದ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿಯ ಸೆಲೆ ಬತ್ತಿಹೋಗಿದೆ, ವೈಚಾರಿಕತೆಯ ಬರ ಬಡಿದಂತಿದೆ. ಅಂದು `ಏಳಿ! ಎದ್ದೇಳಿ!! ಗುರಿ ಮುಟ್ಟುವ ತನಕ ನಿಲ್ಲದಿರಿ' ಎಂಬ ಸಿಂಹವಾಣಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸುಭಾಷ್‌ಚಂದ್ರ ಬೋಸ್‌ ನಂತಹ ಅನೇಕ ವೀರ ಯೋಧರಿಗೆ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿ ನೀಡಿತ್ತು.ವಿಶ್ವದ ಅನೇಕ ಮಂದಿ ಇಂದು ಭಾರತ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ, ಹಿಂದೂ ಪರಂಪರೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಗೌರವದಿಂದ ಕಾಣಲು ಹಾಗೂ ಅದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಮಾಡಲು ಮುಂದಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವು ದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣ ಕೂಡ ಅದೇ ವಿವೇಕವಾಣಿ!! ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕಾನೇಕ ಸಾಧು ಸಂತರು, ಪರಿವ್ರಾಜಕರುಬಂದೂ ಹೋದರೂ, ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ಹಾಗೆ ಸ್ಮೃತಿಪಟಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿಯಬಲ್ಲವರು ಕೆಲವೇ ಮಂದಿ. ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ಜೀವನ ಶೈಲಿಗಿಂತ ಅವರುಜನರ ನೆನಪಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿಯುವುದು ಅವರ ಪ್ರವಚನದ ವಿಚಾರಧಾರೆಯಿಂದ. ಅವರೇ ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆ `ಮೊಹಮ್ಮದ್ ಅಗಲಿ ಬುದ್ಧ ನಾಗಲಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯಮನುಷ್ಯನಾಗಿದ್ದರಿ ಂದ ನನಗಾಗ ಬೇಕಾದುದೇನು? ಅದು ನನ್ನ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಅಥವಾ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ತನವನ್ನು ಬದಲಾಯಿಸುತ್ತದೆಯೇ ? ನಾವು ನಮಗೋಸ್ಕರವಾಗಿಯೇ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವರಾಗುವ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳೋಣ. ಯಾರೋ ಯಾವಾಗಲೋ ಹಿಂದೆಒಳ್ಳೆಯವರಾಗಿದ್ದರ ು ಎಂಬ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕಲ್ಲ'. ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಮುನ್ನಡೆಸಲು ಸಶಕ್ತವಾದ ಯುವಪಡೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುವುದೇ ನನ್ನ ಗುರಿ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಜೀ; ಮಾನಸಿಕ, ದೈಹಿಕ, ಅಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ, ನೈತಿಕ, ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕವಾಗಿಎಂದೂ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬಾರದೆ ಂದು ಯುವಕರಿಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು . ಇಂದು ವಿವೇಕವಾಣಿಯ ಒಂದಿಷ್ಟು ಅಂಶ ನಮ್ಮ ಯುವ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಯ ತಲೆ ಒಳಗೆ ಹೊಕ್ಕರೆ, ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ಉಳಿಸಿ, ಬೆಳಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಪಾಶ್ಚಾತ್ಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಮಿಂಚಿನಂತೆ ಕೆಲಕಾಲ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆಕರ್ಷಿಸಿ ಮರೆಯಾಗುವುದು ಸತ್ಯ ಎಂಬ ಮಾತು ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಅಕ್ಷರಶಃ ಸತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಣಮಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ನಿಮಗೆ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಏನಾದರೂ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾದರೆ ಕೊನೆ ಪಕ್ಷ ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೊಮ್ಮೆಯಾದ ರೂ ಅಳಿದ(ಎಂದೂ ಅಳಿಯದ) ಮಹಾನ್ ಚೇತನಗಳನ್ನು ನೆನಪು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿ ಸಾಕು. ಆ ಚೇತನಗಳ ನೆನಪೇ ಸಾಕು, ಸರಿದಾರಿ ತೋರಲು. ಮುಗ್ಗರಿಸುವ ಮೊದಲು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದಾರಿದೀಪವನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳಿ. ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ಅಯ್ದ ನುಡಿ ಮುತ್ತುಗಳು : ಇದೊಂದು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸತ್ಯ; ಶಕ್ತಿಯೇ ಜೀವನ, ದುರ್ಬಲತೆಯೇ ಮರಣ; ಶಕ್ತಿಯೇ ಪರಮಾನಂದ, ಅಖಂಡಜೀವನ, ಅಮರತ್ವ. ದುರ್ಬಲತೆಯೇ ಅನವರತ ದುಃಖ, ತಳಮಳ, ದುರ್ಬಲತೆಯೇ ಮರಣ. ನೀವು ಯಾವುದೇ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವಾಗಲೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಹೃದಯ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ವಸ್ವವನ್ನೂ ಆಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಡಿ. ನಾನೊಮ್ಮೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸಾಧುಮಹಾತ್ಮನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದೆ. ಆತ ಪೂಜೆ, ಧ್ಯಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಎಷ್ಟು ಏಕಾಗ್ರತೆ ಶ್ರದ್ಧೆಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದನೋ ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಸಾವಧಾನದಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ಆಡುಗೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಹಿತ್ತಾಳೆ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಫಳ ಫಳನೆಹೊಳೆಯುವ ಚಿನ್ನದಂತೆ ತೊಳೆದಿಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ನು. ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವೆಂದರೆ ಮೊದಲೇ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣತೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಾಶಪಡಿಸುವುದು . ವಿಕಾಸವೇ ಜೀವನ;ಸಂಕೋಚವೇ ಮರಣ. ಪ್ರೇಮವೆಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಕಾಸ,ಸ್ವಾರ್ಥವೆ ಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಕೋಚ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಪ್ರೇಮವೇ ಬದುಕಿನ ಧರ್ಮ. ಭಾರತೀಯರಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಡ್ಡದೊಂದು ದೋಷವಿದೆ.ನಾವು ಒಂದು ಸ್ಥಿರವಾದ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಲಾರೆವು. ಕಾರಣವೇನೆಂದರೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಇತರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ನಮಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾವು ಕಾಲವಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದರ ಗತಿ ಏನೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಚಿಂತಿಸುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.

A cold drink that costs only 70 / 80 paise to produce, is sold for Rs.9and a major chunk of profits from these are sent abroad. This is a serious drain on INDIANeconomy. We have nothing against Multinational companies, but to protect our own interest we request everybody to use INDIAN products only at least for the next two years. With the rise in petrol prices, if we do not do this, the Rupee will devalue further and we will endup paying much more for the same products in the near future. What you can do about it? 1. Buy only products manufactured by WHOLLY INDIAN COMPANIES. 2. ENROLL as many people as possible for this cause..... Each individual should become a leader for this awareness. This isthe only way to save our country from severe economic crisis. You don't need to give-up your lifestyle. You just need to choose an alternate product.
